A bombshell

This is 14th of May 2013. I actually have to review about myself, but the sudden call in the afternoon urges me to write about other stuff today.

I received a call before going to Japanese class. My brother asked me if I am free during June and July, and proceed to tell me he's going to buy engagement ring tomorrow.

He's asking me to be his witness during registration of marriage.

This bombshell literally blown my mind. My brother is 25 years old. Still having a wobbly financially status, has neither a house nor a car yet, and he's telling me he is ready to settle down and get married? Are you kidding me?

Besides, is it too conservative for me to think that an official 2.5 months relationship is not stable? I mean, he might be irrational because this is his first time being in a relationship, but why the hell should he rush? Even though he tells me it is perfectly normal to get married at her age, but why rush yourself for her?

I need direction in handling such situation. But I was forbidden from telling mum. I don't even know what to do now...

P/S: She's not pregnant.
